To create yellow, we use a mix of different herbs, flowers, plants and roots. We mix them according to what shades of yellow we are looking for.

If we want bright yellow, we often add some Turmeric into the dye mix. The herb and flower St Johns Wort gives us a beautiful warm yellow tone, particularly if we mix in some yellow Marigold flowers. Adding the herb Gobernadora will make the yellow turn more towards green and an ochre tone.
